Hydronic
Hydronic underfloor heating systems use a series of pipes laid under the floor. A boiler is used to heat water as in a conventional heating system and the water is pumped through the piping to heat the floor.
Hydronic floor heating is most often used to heat an entire home or office as to install it as zone heating can be expensive.
The temperature is normnally controlled by a thermostat the same way as in conventional radiator based heating systems.
